Midwest Conference Corner Update – March 2016
I’m excited to report that we currently have 114 coaches registered for the conference, including 15 from ICF Indy! Our registration numbers are running ahead of any other year at this point in the process. This is great news AND we still need to keep getting the word out to colleagues in order to meet our goals.
As of February 29, the following members of our chapter have already registered: Robin Barr, Margie Beiswanger, Barbara Bougher, Jane Creswell, Danielle Dittberne, Mary DuVall, Ashley English, Dan Johnson, Kathryn Martinie, Julia Mattern, Julianne Miranda, Nina Nealy, Bud Roth, Mark Sprout and Lynn Zettler. We would love to add you to the list. Click here to claim your seat and take advantage of the ICF member discount!
I’m pleased to announce we have secured 3 Major Sponsors. Our Global Sponsor is ICF Global, Wiley is once again our Premier Sponsor and The World Business and Executive Coaching Summit (WBECS) is our Fifth-Anniversary Sponsor. We also have three Advantage Sponsors and have sold a number of exhibitor tables. There are still a few tables left, plus opportunities to advertise in the program book. Click here for more information.
As part of our partnership with WBECS, we will have a Special Fifth-Anniversary Pre-Conference Session on Conversational Intelligence with Judith Glaser on Thursday, June 23 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Westin. This session will generate two ICF CCE Units, giving you the opportunity to earn up to 14 for the conference! WBECS is also making available three virtual sessions from their 2015 event for attendees to listen to at their convenience, for additional ICF CCE Units.
The conference kicks off with our community-service project at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23 at the Westin. Our Business Outreach, “Coaching for Organizational Effectiveness” with Jane Creswell will be held from 1-4 p.m. Click here for information. Please pass the word to business, corporate, government and non-profit leaders in your networks. Our Community Service, The Promise Zone Project, will have coaching starting at 1:00 p.m. We are still looking for coaches to volunteer their time and talents. Click here for information and to apply.
We are also looking for coaches who are artists to participate in our first-ever art exhibit during the opening reception at the Indianapolis Artsgarden. More information is available here. Please help us spread the word about this unique opportunity!
And if you’re joining us for the conference, please consider becoming an Ambassador or an onsite volunteer. It’s a great way to meet people and enhance your conference experience. We promise that you don’t have to miss out to help out! Just check “yes” to volunteering and/or being an Ambassador when you register and we’ll follow up with you.
I cannot be more proud of our chapter and more excited to show our colleagues some Hoosier Hospitality in June! Thank you all for your continued support of this exciting event.
